Playwright and screenwriter. Mustapha Matura was born in Trinidad, West Indies, 1939. He was educated in Roman Catholic intermediate school. Since 1968 Matura has been a full-time writer, founder and chairman of Black Theatre Co-operative, and advisor of International Theater Institute.
